Studio Pilates Sessions

Studio sessions take place at The Pilates Way studio based in Malak. These sessions run for approximately 1 hour and involve client specific exercises with specialised Pilates machines, small apparatus, and mat-work repertoire.

Pilates for:


  • Fitness and Wellbeing

  • Strength and Flexibility

  • Toning

  • Posture

  • Rehabilitation

  • Pain Management and Prevention

  • Pre and Post Pregnancy

  • Conditioning for athletes, dancers etc

Initial Consultation & Assessment

Clients are required to attend an initial consultation and assessment involving:


  •  Review of physical health background

  •  Posture assessment

  •  Identification of Pilates goals and strategies

  • Introduction to Pilates principles, fundamental exercises, and equipment

  • Development of an individual client profile for progressive programming


Session duration 1 - 1.5 hours

Private Sessions

Private sessions are 1 to 1 based sessions where clients have 100% instructor attention. These sessions are perfect for those:


  • New to the pilates method

  • Are in a rehabilitation phase from injury or surgery

  • Need to address or work with a specific condition or goal.

  • Prefer to work alone in a private setting

  • Would like to maximise benefits of their pilates training


Session duration 1 hour

Duet Sessions

Duet sessions allow for 2 clients in one 1 hour session. Sessions include work with the machines and small apparatus and mat-work. These sessions are great for those:


  • Who have done at least 1 private session (initial consultation and assessment) or have prior Pilates experience

  • Are motivated and encouraged working with an exercise buddy*

  • Who would like a more economical alternative to private sessions but without the distractions and reduced instructor attention of larger group classes.

   *clients are welcome to book with a partner however this is not            required. Clients are welcome to join any duet sessions where              a space is available.


Session duration 1 hour
